Jadaliyya Co-Editor Noura Erakat Discusses Anti-Semitism, Zionism, and BDS on Al Jazeera
In first part this Al Jazeera Up Front special, host Mehdi Hasan examines the rise of anti-Semitism on the political right and left in Europe. He asks whether it is something that needs to be tackled or if is is being manipulated by Israel supporters .Noura Erakat joins Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland and +972 online magazine co-founder Lisa Goldman in this discussion. In the second part, the panelists discuss if boycott is anti-semitic. Noura comments, “ . . . At the end of the day, those who are part of a movement against Zionism are part of a liberatory movement not only for Palestinians, but it has an emancipator potential for Jewish people as well.” [Beginning at the 00:09:52 mark].
